The Bruins are looking to reach the playoffs for the sixth straight season.
A few scenarios could lead to the B's punching their ticket to the post-season as early as tonight.
If Boston can beat the Ottawa Senators in any way - regulation, overtime or shootout - and the Pittsburgh Penguins top the New York Islanders in any way as well, then the Bruins are in.
If Bruce Cassidy's troops earn just a single point versus the Sens, combined with a regulation win from the Pens over the Isles, then the Bruins are in.
However, if the Bruins end up losing to the Senators, things will just have to wait!
It should be an interesting night in Beantown regardless, as both the B's and Sens played a back-and-forth game that needed overtime just a few weeks ago.
