For weeks now we've heard the Boston Bruins attached to forwards Wayne Simmonds and Artemi Panarin in trade rumors.
Panarin would be the sniper the Bruins need to balance out their top 6, however he's likely the most expensive trade piece on the block at the moment.
That's likely a price way too expensive for general manager Don Sweeney's taste.
Will the team focus on Simmonds?
Like Panarin, Simmonds is UFA after this season however would be cheaper to land in trade and cheaper to re-sign than Panarin.
Sweeney likely wouldn't get into a bidding war with Tampa, however the Bruins have more flexibility than the Lightning.
It'll be an interesting story line to follow.
