The Boston Bruins are looking to add some secondary scoring before the trade deadline and they might go for the home run.
Boston has constantly been attached to Columbus Blue Jackets forward Artemi Panarin.
General manager Don Sweeney is reportedly reluctant to give up a first round pick after the results of the Rick Nash trade at last year's trade deadline.
Unfortunately for Sweeney's that exactly what it'll cost to land Panarin, and more.
According to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic, the Blue Jackets are asking for a first round pick, Trent Frederic and one of Ryan Donato or Urho Vaakanainen.
It would be a big move by the Bruins, especially considering that Panarin is UFA after this season and there's no guarantee he would re-sign in Boston.
However it would be a home run and definitely give the Bruins top 6 a HUGE boost heading into the playoffs.
