The Boston Bruins will head to New York tonight and take on the Rangers at MSG.
It's a big game for the Bruins as they look to leapfrog the Montreal Canadiens in the standings and keep pace with the Toronto Maple Leafs who also play tonight.
For the occasion, head coach Bruce Cassidy has decided to send Jaroslav Halak between the pipes against the Rangers and that's not the only lineup change Cassidy confirmed.
Cassidy told reporters on Wednesday that forward David Backes will be a healthy scratch once again.
It's a pretty interesting decision considering that Backes was just on the power play last night.
Forward Danton Heinen will jump back into the lineup and replace Backes.
