A longtime radio host for the Blackhawks and Chicago sports community is mourning after it was revealed that Harry Teinowitz passed away at the age of 64-years-old.

Multiple sources have confirmed that Teinowitz passed away at the age of 64-years-old, and the entire Chicago sports community is mourning.
Teinowtiz was the host of "Mac, Jurko & Harry" show on ESPN 1000 or otherwise known as "The Afternoon Saloon" for a long time.
Along with him, Dan McNeil, and John Jurkovic were also on the show from 2001 until 2009.
After leaving the show, DeFalco and Jurkovic hosted it from 2009-13. Later on Teinowtiz hosted WGN radio's sports station, but his time there was short.
He was a man of the people. He loved life in Chicago, and he loved sports fans. We should do a toast to Harry Teinowitz one day every year for people who celebrate what's good in our city. That's his legacy.

Former co-host, Jurkovic also had a statement on his passing when finding out about the heartbreaking news:
Harry was an absolute necessity. You had to have him to make that thing work. Without him, it wouldn't not have worked to the level that worked.

Carmen DeFalco, who was also a co-host had this to say:
He just had a million ideas and he always wanted to be funny. He was always thinking of silly, creative, goofy things to do and he believed in all of them. He always committed to the bit. If it flopped, he didn't care. He just wanted to try.

May he Rest in Peace.
