Montgomery saw the 'Bruins culture' from Torey Krug in St. Louis
Jim Montgomery was hired as head coach of the Boston Bruins on July 1st.
Previously, he was an assistant coach under Craig Berube with the St. Louis Blues where he got to know former Bruins defenseman Torey Krug very well.
He also said that after coaching the defenseman, it was clear that Krug brought 'Bruins culture' to the Blues.
Montgomery via the Cam and Strick Podcast:
''The way he [Torey Krug] thinks, and now having talked to a lot of players in Boston, you can see it's part of the culture there.''
