The fight took place in a SIJHL game between the Kam River Fighting Walleye and the Fort Frances Lakers.
Goaltenders Ethan Hein of the Lakers and Austin Madge of the Walleye both went toe-to-toe at center ice and delivered one of the most entertaining goalie fights in a while!
Goaltenders who drop the gloves are usually doing it during an all-out line brawl but, by the looks of it, these two just decided to square off as the evening's main event.
Both netminders were ejected from the game following their bout, just a little bit past the game's midway point. That didn't stop the Fighting Walleye from naming their Fighting Goaltender as the game's hero though.
