One fan spotted something unusual with Marchand's Winter Classic gloves
Brad Marchand is obviously very superstitious when it comes to his equipment.
For the Winter Classic the Boston Bruins wore special brown/tan gloves to match their throwback uniforms.
Well, everyone but Marchand!
One Twitter user by the handle @Dan_Eisterhold spotted something unusual with the veteran's gloves. See below:
''@UniWatch Looks like Brad Marchand didn't want to wear winter classic gloves, these ones look broke in already and are painted? Some tape on them too?''
Gear Geek Hockey responded to the situation, noting that Marchand is just very picky when it comes to his gloves and only likes to use one brand and style.
''We've been getting messages about Marchand's gloves. From here it looks like he painted them, but it makes sense! He doesn't like breaking in new gloves.''
Not only that, but Marchy also used a different glove on each hand if you look closer! Pretty crazy because most NHL players use a new pair of gloves almost every period, or more often.
