Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney is scrambling trying to add a top six forward to his lineup before today's 3PM EST trade deadline.
He struck out on Ryan Dzingel over the weekend and according to reports he struck out on a former Detroit Red Wings forward as well.
The Red Wings traded Gustav Nyquist to the San Jose Sharks last night for a a 2019 second-round pick and conditional 2020 third-rounder.
According to multiple reports, the Bruins had a deal on the table for Nyquist however Nyquist holds a No Trade Clause and axed the deal to Boston to join his good friend Erik Karlsson in San Jose.
Do you think for just a second round pick and a third, Nyquist would have been a good add for the Bruins?
