The Boston Bruins hired Jim Montgomery on July 1st but there was one other option they were reportedly very close to hiring.
Leading up to their decision, former NHL head coach David Quinn was the heavily favoured to be the Bruins next coach.
Obviously, that didn't happen but apparently Quinn has found a job anyways. As the San Jose Sharks are reportedly about to hire Quinn as their next head coach.
