With Canada leading 2-1 during the first period, Ottawa Senators prospect Ridley Greig has appeared to suffer a significant injury.
As Greig tried to retrieve the puck in the neutral zone, he was hit by a member of the Suisse Team. The contact appeared to occur before Greig was able to touch the puck.
After the hit, Greig's arm falls to his side, and he is clearly in significant pain. Greig skates immediately to the bench before being evaluated by the medical team. Grieg left the bench and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
Dr. Harjas Grewal offered up the following information on the potential injury.
