The ''Teddy Bear Toss'' has been a famous tradition in junior leagues for years now, with at least one AHL team following suit.
That being the Hershey Bears - affiliate of the Washington Capitals - but this year's event took an embarrassing turn.
The Bears were shutout 2-0 by the Bridgeport Islanders, however, with 5 seconds left in the game, the fans decided they weren't missing their opportunity. With the ice littered with the Teddy Bears, the officials were forced to end the game early.
