There will be an insane amount of talent in the USA-CAN semifinal game
USA and Canada renew their rivalry tonight at the World Junior Championship, as they face off in semifinal action.
And the talent level between the two teams will be off the charts! As per @allhockeyculture on Instagram:
Of the 46 combined rostered players between the USA and
Canada, there are:
• 16 1st round picks (35% of total rosters)
. 19 2nd-4th round picks
• Projected 1st and 2nd overall picks in 2023 Entry Draft
• 91% of combined rosters have been drafted

It's too bad the rivalry won't happen in the Gold Medal Game but the stakes are almost just as high. Since 2013, the two teams that share a border have won seven World Junior Championships combined (CAN-4, USA-3).
Puck drop drop is set for 6:30 pm EST in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The first semifinal matchup is between Czechia and Sweden at 2:30 pm EST.
