Crazy celebration leads to the NHL taking the Stanley Cup back from the Panthers
After having a crazy celebration with the Stanley Cup, the NHL has taken it back from the Florida Panthers.
The Florida Panthers were favourites heading into this years playoffs, and they showed why, taking out Tampa Bay, Boston, the Rangers and then defeating the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup.
Although things almost took a turn for the worst after being up 3-0 in the finals, they almost blew it as the Oilers ended up coming back and forcing a game 7.
This win was historic for the Panthers as it's their first ever Stanley Cup in the history of their organization and they did not hold back when celebrating with the cup.
The NHL has taken the Stanley Cup back and it was returned to the Cup Keeper so that the players can have their names written on it.
