There's news that Martin Necas, as one of the prime targets for any team to upgrade their top-six.

It seems that Martin Necas could be traded by the end of the week, he could also be a Boston Bruin.

According to NHL Insider Frank Seravalli, the Carolina Hurricanes winger, could be moved quickly.

Frank Seravalli believes Martin Necas could be traded this week.

Frank Servalli: Yeah I don't know if motivated is the right word, but I would say I wouldn't be shocked to see him even moved by Saturday. I think you will see a flurry of activity ahead of the Stanley Cup Final beings. There has been so many teams that are excited to get Necas, I don't envision a path for him to come back to Carolina. I think Vancouver, Calgary, Columbus are at least three of the teams I am paying attention to when it comes to the Necas-front, he has been a very, very hot commodtity.

With trade talks picking up with Servalli mentioning how popular Necas is in , we should see movement soon.

The Bruins are missing center depth, since the retirement of David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron, after the 2022-2023 NHL season.

Necas could be a good upgrade, and as a 20-goal scorer, posting 53 points this season in 77 games, would be an immediate boost to the Bruins offensive depth.

Will Sweeney have to part with Ullmark for Necas?

More to come as the story develops.
