A contract is in place for the Boston Bruins to sign Brock Boeser: A major development ahead of free agency
This off-season is going to be a busy one for the Boston Bruins, and now they have a chance to massively upgrade their offence with free agency set to begin today.
Yesterday, a bunch of signings took place, but there are still some big named players that are going to be testing the waters today during free agency.
Bruins linked to Brock Boeser ahead of free agency
With free agency set to open today, Elliotte Friedman has reported that the Boston Bruins are a team to watch out for.
Ever since losing Jake DeBrusk to free agency, the Bruins never ended up replacing him, and now have the perfect opportunity to do so.
Along with the Bruins, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and San Jose have also been teams linked to Boeser:
Elliotte Friedman: Possibilities for Brock Boeser: "Winnipeg, Edmonton (if the Oilers can create room), Boston. San Jose needs players" - Sportsnet
Boeser would be ideal for the Bruins, providing an immediate boost to the Bruins top-six.
Boeser had 25 goals, 25 assists for 50 points last year, but ended up scoring 40 for the first time in his career the previous year.
Don Sweeney has the cap space to sign Brock Boeser in free agency today, it will be interesting to see where he ends up going.
