Last June, Tampa Bay Lightning's head coach Jon Cooper was named as the head coach for Team Canada.
This is going to be the first time Bruce Cassidy makes an appearance for the Winter Olympics.
If this isn't enough to make people believe that Don Sweeney made the right choice firing Bruce Cassidy, he also went on to win a Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights during his first year with the organization.
Cassidy spent six years with the Boston Bruins as head coach, and one before that as an assistant.
He spent some time with the Providence Bruins as well, being an assistant coach for three seasons, and head coach for five.
Cassidy had a really good record in his 6 years of coaching the Boston Bruins with a record of 245-108-46.
