A major turn of events has surfaced in the Boston Bruins firing head coach Joe Sacco

The organization is in search for a rebound after a very disappointing year that concluded in a drastic downturn in performance, and Cam Neely has acknowledged that.

In a recent interview, the team's president broke his silence on the absolute turn-around the Bruins had this season, which saw a coach change, key-veterans traded, and a whopping downfall in the organization's performance.

However, despite the unfortunate circumstances the organization is in, interim head coach, Joe Sacco, is suggested to remain a candidate for the full-time position, with Neely admitting, 'It hasn't been easy for them But he's handled it very well.'

Neely revealed the path forward will be more of a retool than a full-scale rebuild and suggests he believes Sacco is capable of taking on this challenge.

Cam Neely stated:

In all fairness, Joe Sacco entered the organization while it was in absolute turmoil, which was definitely not the way you want to make your welcome in a team.

Only time will tell, but at this time, Cam Neely is not shying away from the pressure.

Neely and Boston's general manager, Don Sweeney, appear to be prepared for all options this offseason, including moving picks and a reshaped roster, as they continue to prioritize the Bruins' ability to make a comeback.
