A recent announcement revealed some troubling news for former Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery, and the St. Louis Blues right before the playoffs.

On November 19th, the Boston Bruins ended up firing head coach Jim Montgomery, and announced that Joe Sacco would take over as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
Just six days later, the St. Louis Blues announced that they hired Jim Montgomery as their next head coach.
Montgomery is one of the best head coach's in the NHL, and everyone knew that after he got fired, it wouldn't take long for him to get another job, and it didn't.
Since taking over as head coach of the St. Louis Blue, Jim Montgomery has basically turned their season around, and as of right now they are one of the hottest teams in the NHL.
The St. Louis Blues are currently on an 11-game win streak, but have been hit with some unfortunate news just moments before the playoffs.

During their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins last night, the St. Louis Blues ended up losing one of their top players in Dylan Holloway as it was reported that he would not return to the game due to an injury.
Jim Montgomery confirmed today that Holloway is going to be out for at least the next two games, but they are still waiting on the full report from their doctor's.

Now, the St. Louis Blues organization has confirmed that Holloway is going to be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury.
The Blues have basically locked in their playoff position, but with 5 games remaining this is definitely a big loss for them.
Holloway sits third for most points on the Blues this season with 26 goals, 37 assists for 63 points in 77 games.
