A worrying development has surfaced regarding multiple Boston Bruins top prospects: It's not good

After entering the off-season looking for secondary scoring, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney failed to do that, and now it's not looking good for some of the Bruins top prospects.
Entering July 1st free agency, the Bruins had a ton of cap space, and many believed that Sweeney was going to target a top-six winger, and top-four right shot defenseman.
Instead, the Bruins ended up signing a bunch of bottom-six/depth forwards, using all of their cap space.
Top prospects won't get much playing time
Because of how crowded the bottom-six is now, it's unlikely that some of the Boston Bruins top prospects will see much playing time in the NHL this season.
Especially for someone like
Fabian Lysell, who was drafted in the first-round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Since being drafted, Lysell has appeared in just 12 NHL games since being drafted, and it feels like it's now or never for him.
But with how crowded the Bruins bottom-six is now thanks to Don Sweeney, he may not even get a chance in the lineup next season.
Another player who may not get a shot is someone like
Matthew Poitras, who looks like he is ready to make that jump up to the NHL.
But again, the Bruins signed way too many depth/bottom-six players, and now their chances are likely not going to be high.
