With how last season went for the Boston Bruins, it's no secret that the Boston Bruins need more offense.
July 1st is right around the corner, and the Bruins are expected to pursue some top-six scoring help through either trades, offer sheets or signings.
The Boston Bruins have some draft capital with the 7th overall pick, and two second-round picks this year, and also a pair of first-round picks next year.
With this, Don Sweeney has the tools to give the Boston Bruins a different look heading into the 2025-26 season.
Boston Bruins linked to two big named players
There are two big named players that the Boston Bruins have been linked too that can instantly make them a contender again.
First one being
Martin Necas. There was talk early into the off-season that Necas may not be happy with how things went with Colorado, and he
may request a trade.
Necas is set to earn $6.5 million next season, which isn't terrible for the type of player he is, and the Avalanche may look to move him.
The other surprising player that the Boston Bruins have been linked too, that would instantly make a huge difference is
Jason Robertson.
It would be a big price to pay, but the former 40-goal scorer, and 109 point player would make a massive difference for the Bruins.
Robertson is still signed to his $7.75 million contract for one more year, but is set to have a big payday after that.
