David Pastrnak had one of his best years in his career during the 2024-25 season despite the disappointing year the Boston Bruins ended up having.

During the first half of the season, Pastrnak was only on pace to score 30 goals, and wasn't going to finish the year at a point per game.
In the second half of the year he ended up turning things up to another level and played some of the best hockey of his career.
Because of his play, he is getting some recognition from the NHL.

David Pastrnak selected to NHL second All-Star Team

Pastrnak did play in every single game for the Bruins, appearing in 82 games and went on to score 43 goals along with 63 assists for 106 points.
That had him tied for the third-most points in the NHL with Leon Draisaitl even though the Boston Bruins finished a bottom 5 team in the league which is mind blowing.
Another mind blowing stat is the fact that he also lead the league with even-strength points with 83.
Boston Bruins super star ended up leading the Boston Bruins in multiple categories including goals, assists, points, power play goals, power play points and shots.
This season, Pastrnak hit the 100 point mark for the third consecutive season, making him just the third Bruins player in franchise history to record three straight 100-point season.
He was also named to the Second All-Star team last year, and named to the First Team in 2020, and 2023.
After being robbed for the Hart Memorial Trophy, it's safe to say that Pastrnak earned this.
