Amidst the NHL Stanley Cup Finals between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers, the NHL just announced their finalists for the Hart Trophy and David Pastrnak was robbed.
David Pastrnak ended up having a slow start to the NHL season, but flipped things around and had one of his best seasons of his career.
Once the calendar year flipped to 2025, David Pastrnak became an unstoppable force in the NHL.
Pastrnak ended up going on a 17-game point streak where he scored 15 goals, and 18 assists for 33 points!
This would help him finish tied for 3rd in the NHL for scoring only behind Nikita Kucherov, and Nathan MacKinnon.
Despite the Boston Bruins having a very down year, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2016, Pastrnak's performance should have earned him the honour of being a finalists for the Hart Memorial Trophy, right...?

Today the NHL announced their finalists for the Hart Memorial Trophy, and to no surprise David Pastrnak got snubbed.
What he did despite how bad the Boston Bruins were should have been recognized, but instead Kucherov, Draisaitl, and Hellebuyck were the three finalists.
