An ideal linemate for Boston Bruins super star David Pastrnak seems to want out of the organization he is currently with, and the Boston Bruins are a perfect fit for him.
During the NHL season, the Colorado Avalanche shocked the NHL whenever they ended up trading Mikko Rantanen.
Before being traded to the Carolina Hurricanes, there were a lot of reports linking Rantanen to the Boston Bruins, but he later got traded again to the Dallas Stars in a sign-and-trade signing a eight-year, $96 million deal.
In return for Rantanen the Colorado Avalanche ended up receiving Jack Drury, and star forward Martin Necas.
Now there are some reports that Necas may want out of Colorado.
Necas Requested A Trade?
According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, and other reports Martin Necas may not be happy with how everything went down and may want out of Colorado:
After the Avalanche moved Rantanen because of how difficult they perceived contract extension talks to be going, how much patience will they have with Necas - not a homegrown player or superstar talent - if negotiations on an extension start slowly this July? There was a sense Necas wasn't overly thrilled with his experience in Colorado and that he wants to explore other options.
Martin Necas was on my wishlist last season. He's played with Pastrnak/Zacha at the Worlds and is a speedy, consistent scorer#NHLBruins need to kick the tires
If Sweeney is serious about wanting to get back into the playoffs and being competitive once again, he has to be all in on him.
