Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks to complete a trade? A major development has surfaced

With the Chicago Blackhawks wanting to take a step forward in their rebuild, they have been linked to making a trade with the Boston Bruins.
Making a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks could really benefit the Boston Bruins, especially considering how deep of a prospect pool they have.
So far this off-season, the Blackhawks have been pretty quite, and they could look to change that by making a trade with the Boston Bruins.
As of right now, the Blackhawks currently have over $21 million in cap space, giving them the perfect opportunity to make some trades to make big changes ahead of next season.
Bruins and Blackhawks linked to a trade
According to
The Hockey News suggest that the Blackhawks should consider looking into trading for Boston Bruins forward
Pavel Zacha.
One player who the Blackhawks should seriously consider targeting is Boston Bruins forward Pavel Zacha.
With the Bruins looking to add prospects to their pool, and the Blackhawks looking for another top-six forward, it makes them perfect trading partners.
Zacha wouldn't be a rental for the Chicago Blackhawks, and doesn't have a massive cap hit coming in at just $4.75 million until the end of the 2026-27 season, making his trade value higher.
Last year,
Zacha appeared in 82 games scoring 14 goals, and 47 points. The year before that he had 57 points, and 59 the year prior.
Although it's unclear what would head back the other way, he could easily give the Blackhawks a big boost to their offense.
