The Boston Bruins alongside every other team within the National Hockey League have undergone a stressful offseason thus far, and in the midst of these intense times, the National Hockey League made a special announcement.

That announcement was their «educated» guess the Quarter Century Team on NHL Network's Quarter Century Team list, which was publicized on NHL.com as well as social media, and let's just say, some fans have been losing their minds.

This is mostly due to the fact some believe the named players who made the cut were controversial decisions, and that some deserving players were left off the list.

Although the Boston Bruins' Patrice Bergeron was a given, there is a name that is difficult to overlook, and fans have voiced their frustrations.

That name is the Boston Bruins' former captain defenseman, Zdeno Chara.

Many can argue that Chara led the Boston Bruins to their Stanley Cup Championship in 2011, as he patrolled the organization's blue line.

His legacy wasn't just about his powerful shot, but also for his impeccable leadership and dedication for his organization.

He contributed to building the franchise and winning the championship, and even through his injuries, as he battled through several jaw fractures, this captain proved his loyalty and determination throughout his whole career.

It is undoubtedly injustice to one of the all-time great defensemen's of his generation to not include him in the Quarter Century Team.
