This off-season, the Boston Bruins have been one of the hottest teams in the rumor mill, and now a latest trade proposal sees them combining with the Calgary Flames for a blockbuster trade.

After a horrible 2024-25 season, the Boston Bruins are looking to get back into playoff contention.
Don Sweeney ended up selling during the 2025 NHL trade deadline, making it a bit harder for the Bruins to do it.
But a recent trade proposal would see them acquiring a former 100 point player, and it could change things for the Boston Bruins.

Trade proposal sees the Bruins acquiring former 100 point player

Heavy.com recently proposed a trade that sees the Boston Bruins and Calgary Flames combining for a 1-for-1 blockbuster trade.
In the trade it sees the Boston Bruins acquiring Jonathan Huberdeau, and in return the Calgary Flames would receive Casey Mittelstadt.
Here's a look at the proposed move:
Bruins get:

Jonathan Huberdeau, F

Flames get:

Casey Mittelstadt, F

This trade would end up helping the Calgary Flames as they are currently strapped for cap space.
It would also help the Boston Bruins out considering they have been looking for a top-six forward, and this trade would give them exactly that.
Huberdeau has seen a dip in production since leaving the Florida Panthers, but just four years ago he ended up setting a career high in points with 115.
Do you think the Calgary Flames would accept this trade offer from the Boston Bruins?
