This off-season, the Montreal Canadiens have been looking for a second-line center, and new details just emerged regarding them trading with the Boston Bruins to acquire one.

Since the beginning of the off-season, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the Montreal Canadiens and Mason McTavish.
But now, a new name has entered the conversation for the Montreal Canadiens.
According to NHL insider Jimmy Murphy, the Montreal Canadiens could look to the Boston Bruins to acquire a second-line center.

Pavel Zacha on Montreals radar?

Jimmy Murphy recently appeared on the Sick Podcast, and ended up stating that Pavel Zacha could be a good fit for them.
Murphy has been an NHL insider with the Boston Bruins for awhile, and has some very good connections to the organization.
This is all speculation at the moment, but the fact that it was being talked about means there is a good chance the Canadiens are interested.
All off-season long, Pavel Zacha has been involved in trade rumors, but he was also involved in some back at the NHL trade deadline.
The Boston Bruins are in a weird spot right now, they claim they want to make it back to the playoffs.
But they are also claiming that they want to get younger.
It's unclear whether or not the Boston Bruins are going to trade Pavel Zacha at this moment.
But if they were too, the Montreal Canadiens would be the perfect team to do so, as they have a long list of top prospects in their system.
