During the Boston Bruins game on Wednesday against the New York Rangers, Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney spoke on TNT about the potential of a imminent trade taking place as he is not happy with his teams current roster.

One path, the Boston Bruins would be sellers, and start their re-tool. The other route would see the Bruins being buyers at the NHL trade deadline. All of this depends on where the Bruins are in the standings.

Don Sweeney appears on TNT and talks about a trade happening

Last night, General Manager Don Sweeney appeared on TNT and talked about the Boston Bruins current roster.
Sweeney stated that there are places on the roster he would like to improve on before the deadline, but injuries are going to play a part in this.
Don Sweeney on TNT says there are areas of the Bruins' roster he'd like to improve before the trade deadline, but that if they suffer more injuries or "don't get the job done," they might have to take a different path.
Right now the Boston Bruins are only missing defenseman Hampus Lindholm due to injury, and he isn't expected to be back till after the Four Nations Faceoff tournament.
A trade could happen soon with the Bruins. They are definitely going to be an interesting team to keep your eye on as the trade deadline approaches.
