Backup goaltender Joonas Korpisalo played 27 games for the Boston Bruins this season, with a 2.90 GAA, 11-10-3 record, and a .893 save percentage.

A record that looks like you'd expect for someone who's been struggling these past two seasons and unable to produce like he used to in Columbus and Los Angeles.

Since he's hit bigger markets, he's only been able to find himself above .900 in Los Angeles.

Now, a perennial backup goalie is unhappy with the number of games the Bruins have given him, which is paltry compared to his teammate Jeremy Swayman.

Korpisalo still has three-years left on his deal with the Bruins and being only a backup in the NHL doesn't have it perks, as his low AAV could find him being traded, especially if there's a rift between himself and the team.

At only $4 million, many NHL teams could utilize a backup like Korpisalo and give him a better shot in the crease than what he's received in Boston.

But if we're being honest, it would depend on what the Bruins plan on doing with Michael DiPietro, who could be promoted with a smaller cap hit and better save percentage (.927).
