Boston Bruins Head Coach Joe Sacco Released An Unexpected Statement Ahead Of Biggest Game Of The Year
Tonight, the Boston Bruins will be playing in one of, if not the biggest game of the year for them, and will be taking on a divisional rival in the Ottawa Senators, whoa re both fighting for a playoff spot at the moment.
Right now the Boston Burins sit just two points out of a wildcard spot, and a win over the Ottawa Senators tonight would put them back into a playoff picture.
The only problem is that the Boston Bruins have played multiple more games then other teams that are fighting for a
playoff spot this year, but have been rolling recently.
Since the changes at the trade deadline, the Boston Bruins are 2-0 beating both the Florida Panthers, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Before the trade deadline, the Bruins were 1-8 in their previous nine games.
Joe Sacco with a statement
Ahead of the game, Joe Sacco issued a statement on how the Boston Bruins are going to have to play, and how much tonight is going to mean for both the Bruins and Senators.
Coach Sacco on tonight's #NHLBruins matchup against Ottawa: "They're playing well right now...they're in a playoff spot. It's going to be a good challenge. They've also played very well at home...we have to be ready for the stat of the game here tonight."
Tonight is going to be a war between the two teams, both are playing in meaningful games tonight, and both teams bring a lot of physicality.
