Boston Bruins Insider Calls Out Fabian Lysell Following 3-1 Loss To The San Jose Sharks
After being called up ahead of their game
against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Boston Bruins finally added Fabian Lysell to the roster for their game against the San Jose Sharks.
#Bruins forward
Mark Kastelic has returned to Boston and will miss the remainder of this trip with an upperbody ailment.
Kastelic is now set to miss the remainder of the Bruins road trip, and there is currently no time line on his injury.
After being added to the lineup, Fabian Lysell was getting called out after the game.
Fabian Lysell Gets Called Out
Lysell is not a big body player, he relies on his skill, and speed more then anything.
After the game, Lysell was facing some criticism for being too soft, and not going into the dirty areas like the corners. He was also being called out for not supporting the defence enough in their own zone.
Would really like to see Fabian Lysell use his feet A LOT more and stop being so soft about going into the corners. Also, support his D men better. Not bad, but plenty of room to grow. #NHLBruins
The good thing about this is that
Lysell has only played in two NHL games, and is still young being just 22-years-old, there is plenty of time for him to develop his game.
What else do you expect from someone who has saw a total of two NHL games. He was not going to be perfect and never will be, but the Boston Bruins need to use this to develop his game, and not punish him because of it.
