Yesterday, the Boston Bruins ended up announcing their first set of roster cuts, and there was one surprise.
Before their preseason game against the Philadelphia Flyers, there was belief that the Bruins were going to announce their first round of cuts following the game.
The announcement didn't directly follow the game, but instead, it was made the following morning.
I would assume the first round of training camp cuts will be made after today's Boston Bruins preseason game against the Philadelphia Flyers on the road.

Bruins officially send a goaltender to Providence
Multiple insiders confirmed that the Bruins have sent 10 players back to the Providence Bruins, and one of them was a goaltender.

Bruins make their first training-camp cuts:
Joey Abate, Luke Cavallin, Ty Cheveldayoff, Jackson Edward, Colin Felix, Ty Gallagher, Loke Johansson, Jake Schmaltz, Max Wanner and Simon Zajicek will report to Providence Bruins Training Camp.
Simon Zajicek, an undrafted goalie signed by the Boston Bruins, has had an impressive camp, and many believed that he could fight for a roster spot.
Even though he had an impressive camp, it's clear the 24-year-old needs some time to develop, and the Bruins already have a complicated goaltending situation as it is.
Along with that, the Bruins were also running some new lines during their morning skate.
