Boston Bruins name David Pastrnak captain of the organization: A major development has surfaced

A major development has surfaced in regard to the Boston Bruins naming their star-forward, David Pastrnak, as the organization's next captain.
Since the Boston Bruins organization departed with their fan-favourited captain, Brad Marchand, at the NHL Trade Deadline in March, general manager, Don Sweeney, and the franchise's front office have still yet to name a replacement to take over the 'C' label.
The trade that erupted, which saw Marchand depart from Boston and make his way into the Florida Panthers lineup, left Bruins fans in utter shock, and as they anticipated a new captain in town, this Original Six franchise is still yet to name one.
Now, fast-forward three months, the organization has been hinting at some changes within the franchise, and without any confirmation, Boston's fan-base has begun to dissect and speculate.
And recently, a social media post was made by the Boston Bruins' official 'X' account which has left fans claiming that the organization is set to not only announce new jerseys, but to also name their next captain.
On June 22nd, the Boston Bruins released a video of David Pastrnak picking up a jersey with no context, with the caption dating '6.25.25', and it has become an extremely hot topic ever since.

The same reporter then revealed a photo of Pastrnak wearing the speculated new home and away jerseys with the 'C' on his chest.
