A major announcement has unveiled that Boston Bruins prospect, Daniil Misyul, has officially left the organization.

Bruins' pending RFA (Restricted Free Agent) defenseman, Daniil Misyul has revealed he will be officially leaving the organization as he has opted to return to his native Russia for the 2025/26 season.
It was noted that Misyul signed a one-year deal with the Kontinental Hockey League's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, and that he will be departing from Boston, per a league release.
However, the Bruins can still retain Misyul's NHL rights through the 2027/28 season, if they issue him a qualifying offer by the June 30 deadline.
The 24-year old did not appear in an NHL game for the Bruins following being acquired by the Devils in exchange for depth forward, Marc McLaughlin, at the trade deadline in March.
He played out the 2024/25 season with the Boston Bruins' AHL team, the Providence Bruins, where he recording one goal, 27 PIM, and a plus/minus rating of minus-two in 11 games endured.
Meanwhile, New Jersey Devils' Marc McLaughlin, the forward traded by Boston for Misyul, accumulated one assists within just two games played at the National Hockey League level.
This goes to show that the Boston Bruins organization is in desperate need to make strategic moves this offseason, as scenarios such as this one, can be extremely detrimental to Boston's AHL and NHL teams.
With free agency on the rise, and major offseason moves expected by Boston's fan-base, general manager, Don Sweeney, is in dire need to make phenomenal moves with the resources he has this summer if the Bruins anticipate a re-tool.
