Boston Bruins star player has a unexpected opinion on Don Sweeney's underwhelming off-season

Even though many believe that Don Sweeney had a very underwhelming off-season for the Boston Bruins, star forward Elias Lindholm believes otherwise.
The 2024-25 season was a terrible one for the Boston Bruins, and it felt like it was never going to end.
A number of players either underperformed for the Boston Bruins, or were dealing with injuries during the season.
Although he underperformed, Elias Lindholm was a player that played through an injury all season long.
This came just after he signed a massive seven year contract with the Boston Bruins worth $54.25 million.
Lindholm ended up revealing that he played through the season with a back injury that he suffered during training camp, and was not able to live up to expectations because of this.
A lot of people have not been a fan of Don Sweeney's off-season moves, but Elias Lindholm seems to be a fan.

Don Sweeney did not make any spectacular moves during the off-season, but Lindholm is a fan of what he did.
Recently he spoke with Daily Faceoff, and stated that it's going to be an interesting season for the Boston Bruins.
«It's going to be an interesting season,'' said Lindholm. "We've brought in some players, more hardworking types, so the feeling is that we've added more of a Boston style to our game. Then we have (Pastrnak), and hopefully, I can get back to my game. McAvoy was a bit injured and missed most of last season. Now we get him back. Viktor (Arvidsson) is coming. (Jeremy) Swayman maybe didn't have his best season A lot went wrong, but hopefully, things will go better this season and allow us to make the playoffs at least.»
The Boston Bruins did not make many big moves this year, but getting injured players back like Charlie McAvoy, and Hampus Lindholm is definitely going to make a difference for them.
