With the Boston Bruins looking to have a bounce back season, an announcement was just made involving Jeremy Swayman from the NHL.
So far, the off-season has been disappointing for the Boston Bruins, and the moves Don Sweeney has made, has left fans question how the season is going to go for the Bruins.
Entering the season, there is one lock in the Boston Bruins roster, Jeremy Swayman is going to be the back bone for them.
NHL Public Relations recently issued a statement regarding Jeremy Swayman having a bounce back season for the Bruins.
This off-season, Jeremy Swayman was involved in one of the hottest rumours.
A lot of speculation surfaced at the beginning of the off-season that the Bruins were going to send Swayman heading to the Edmonton Oilers.
Last season did not fully fall on Jeremy Swayman, as Don Sweeney did not ice a good team in front of him.
With a decently better team this year, it's going to be a test to see how he can perform.
Swayman expected to have a big bounce back season
NHLPR recently issued a statement revealing that new head coach Marco Sturm led the Ontario Reign of the AHL to the third fewest shots on goal per game last season.

"Jeremy Swayman has a chance to improve under new head coach Marco Sturm, who previously coached Ontario Reign of the AHL and helped the team allow the third-fewest shots on goal per game (26.3) last season."
Along with that, NHLPR also revealed a stat involving David Pastrnak with their new edge stat tracker.
"David Pastrnak scored 40-plus goals for the fifth time and reached 100-plus points for the third time in his career last season. Pastrnak leads the NHL in both goals (151) and shots on goal (1,108) over the past three campaigns. #NHLStats"
The Boston Bruins are going to rely heavy on Pastrnak, but Swayman is going to have to have a bounce back season.
