The Boston Bruins have had a very busy day today, and it doesn't seem like they are quite done yet, as Elliotte Friedman revealed that the Boston Bruins have placed defenseman Jordan Oesterle on waivers.

Today, the Boston Bruins made a four player roster move, and an insider indicated that it could be because they are set to make a couple more trades.

It was announced that the Boston Bruins recalled Ian Mitchell, Riley Tufte, Vinny Lettieri, and Patrick Brown from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League this monring.

Now the Boston Bruins are placing defenseman Jordan Oesterle on waivers, making him free for any other team to claim him.

It's unclear whether or not this move is being made for trade reasons or not, but the NHL trade deadline is just two days away, and the Boston Bruins are going to be an interesting team to keep an eye on.
