Boston reportedly set to be involved in a blockbuster trade that would send the team into a full on rebuild

An NHL insider has revealed the unexpected, as it has been suggested that Bruins veteran, David Pastrnak, is allegedly on his way out of Boston.
The fan-favourited superstar, David Pastrnak, has been essential in the Bruins roster, as he offers the immense skill, depth, and leadership the organization now lacks following the departure of their 16-year veteran, Brad Marchand.
However, there are speculations revealing that Pastrnak may just be the next veteran packing his bags to leave Boston this summer.

«I could see a scenario where Boston wants to trade pasta and I could see a mutual agreement there. Boston is going to be entering a very dark time unless they get McKenna next year. I don't think pasta would like to stick around at 28 29 on a rebuilding team.»
The Boston Bruins' 2024/25 season was an absolute mess, and frankly, a year the organization may want to forget as it ultimately led the team's re-tool to undoubtedly erupt into a full re-build.
But has the organization taken it too far?
The 28-year old is evidently striving to contend with a competitive team, with 43 goals, 63 assists, totalling at 106 points in just 82 games.
These numbers undoubtedly signify the veteran is hungry and it doesn't seem like Boston can offer him what he wants right now.
On the other hand, the Bruins organization proved they are willing to sacrifice whatever it takes when push comes to shove after they traded their captain, Brad Marchand, and if the team is taking this re-build seriously, they may want to pursue younger players like Gavin McKenna instead of Pastrnak.
With all being said, at the moment Pastrnak's time in Boston seems like a ticking time-bomb and only time will tell if we can expected him wearing the black and yellow for much longer.
