Despite all the rumours surrounding the Boston Bruins this offseason due to limited cap space, it may be possible to salvage some of this mess and keep some very key pieces.
How Do The Bruins Keep Both Goalies?
If Don Sweeney can get Jeremy Swayman to branch into a branch deal, involving a one year team-friendly deal with a long-term extension in place that would come into effect next season.
Giving GM Don Sweeney and the Bruins time to figure out their financial issues in order to resign Swayman the following year.
Jeremy Swayman will be a necessary asset for the Boston Bruins especially in the next two seasons. It is unknown if Swayman will agree with this plan because he's already proved that he could be a No. 1 goalie on any team rather than a backup with the Bruins.
