Bruins defenseman trolls Islanders fans on social media after altercation with Matthew Schaefer
After trailing the game the entire time, the Bruins found a way to secure another two points last night against the New York Islanders.
Boston ended up winning their fourth straight game after defeating the New York Islanders 4-3 in a shootout. This win ended up moving them into 3rd place in the Atlantic Division.
Marat Khusnutdinov ended up coming up big for the Bruins once again and continued to impress after scoring the game-tying goal in the third period and then the shootout winner.
None of this was the main focus last night. Instead it was a line brawl that saw Nikita Zadorov throwing Matthew Schaefer around.
Zadorov ended up throwing a good two or three cross-checks before the clip begins, and then he can be seen giving him another shot in the face before Schaefer fell to the ground.
In this play, Zadorov was given three penalties. Following the game, he was asked about the incident and made a joke:
"I looked at my penalty minutes from last year, and I needed to get them up."

After the game, Islanders fans were not happy with Zadorov, and he took the perfect opportunity to troll them.
After Nikita Zadorov was called for roughing against Matthew Schaefer on Tuesday, he shared a screenshot of his DMs after the game, and a message for the fans who sent them to him 🤫😅
There were talks that Zadorov may face a suspension or discipline from the NHL Player Safety, but it seems like nothing is going to come out of this.
