Bruins organization stunned by latest announcement as their top head coach candidate signs shocking deal

A recent announcement revealed that the Boston Bruins have once again missed out on a top head coach, and it was one they were highly interested in.
NHL insider David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period just revealed that the Chicago Blackhawks have found their next head coach of their organization.
It was reported that former Detroit Red Wings coach, and the current assistant coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Jeff Blashill is taking the head coaching position with the Chicago Blackhawks.
As speculated, Jeff Blashill will be named next #Blackhawks head coach today.
After announcing the hiring, Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson had this to say about their new head coach:

The Boston Bruins are still in their search for their next head coach, and it was rumorued that they were fron runners to land Blashill as their next head coach.
Rumored to have been a front runner for the #NHLBruins coaching vacancy.
Blashill was with the Red Wings for 7 seasons from 2015-2022 and had a record of 163-231-61 making the playoffs just one time. Before taking the job with the Red Wings, he led the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins to a championship during the 2013 season and made the playoffs the next two years after as well.
