During this fire sale, the Bruins shocked the hockey world by confirming the organization had traded their fan-favourited captain, Brad Marchand, to the Florida Panthers.
Despite the heartbreaking truth of this talent no longer being in Boston, Bruins fans were anticipating a new player to wear the «C» label.
Yet several months have passed, and although captain rumours have continued to circle within Boston, there has been no sight of a new leader in this Original Six franchise.
Now, a new development has just surfaced the media, revealing Casey Mittelstadt's opinion on who should be the face of the team next.

In a recent interview, Casey Mittelstadt hints that David Pastrnak should be named Boston Bruins' captain.
