New details have been revealed on Charlie McAvoy's surgery, and there may be a timeline on his return.
On November 15th Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy ended up taking a slapshot to the face, causing him to leave the game and not return.
Since then, there has been some speculation surrounding McAvoy's health, and yesterday there was finally an official update on him.
Sturm stated that McAvoy underwent facial surgery, but there was no timeline on his return to play.

According to ESPN's Emily Kaplan, McAvoy should be good to return back before the Olympics.
