Before the Boston Bruins travel to Florida for game three, Jim Montgomery shared a 'less than ideal'' update on Patrice Bergeron, as Conor Ryan put it.
Should We Be Worried About the Captain?
Bergeron has been out of action since the first period of Boston's regular season finale, but has been skating on his own. In what was originally labelled as an illness, it's turned into an injury scare for the Bruins' captain.
However, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic shared some concerning updates from Montgomery prior to the team travelling:
''I haven't talked to medical and athletic trainers about where he's at as far as coming with us on the trip or not.''
- Jim Montgomery
And Conor Ryan of Boston.com is not a fan of the news.
Game three is set for Friday night at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida. The Bruins split the first two games at home with the Panthers, and quite honestly, need to find their A' game once again.
