A post was made on social media, via «X», yesterday, Tuesday, September 3, by the Boston Bruins' official account, revealing what David Pastrnak stated following the organization's first practice.
«Expectations are always the same here. You play for an Original Six, they are always high and they always will be we won't accept what happened last year. The team that's going to dress in October is going to be very competitive,» All-Star right-wing David Pastrnak said following Tuesday's Captains Practice.
The 2024/25 NHL season was not the first year that the Boston Bruins failed to qualify for the postseason, as they completed their 2015/16 season following the regular season, yet, their .463 points percentage was their worst record since 2006/2007.
Despite Boston's underwhelming season, it was another brilliant campaign on Pastrnak's end.
As he completed the season with 43 goals, tied his career-high of 63 assists, totalling at a whopping 106 points within 82 regular season games.
That being said,
David Pastrnak has fully admitted he will not be accepting the team's fate of failures, rather, intends to ensure this Original Six franchise continues their legacy.
