Latest announcement to the media publicly disrespects Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak and it's shocking.
Recently, EA Sports shared the top 10 right wingers for NHL 26, which will be released on September, 12, 2025, and with no surprise, Boston Bruins' superstar forward, David Pastrnak, made the cut with an extremely high rating.
However, this latest announcement has now started controversy within the hockey world, as some could argue Pastrnak deserved a higher ranking.
Controversy sparks within Boston following EA Sports releasing top 10 right wingers for NHL 26
EA Sports revealed that David Pastrnak is 94 overall in NHL 26, and with that, he has a higher overall than majority of well-known right wingers, such as Mike Rantanen, Sam Reinhart, William Nylander, and Mitch Marner.
Yet, there is one right winger who was confirmed t have a higher rating than Pastrnak for NHL 26.
That forward is the Tampa Bay Lightning star, Nikita Kucherov, who is 96 overall in the game.
This has sparked a major controversy, as plenty of Bruins fans are claiming Pastrnak should be ranked the best right wingers in NHL 26.
Pastrnak's last campaign marked his third season in a row where this skilled forward concluded the year recording over 100 points, even with all the struggle he's endured within Boston.
Meanwhile, Nikita Kucherov, who has also recorded more than 100 points within his last three campaigns, has that helping hand from his successful organization, and by no means does that diminish his talent, it just goes to show that Pastrnak has had to work harder for his current record.
