Entering the new season, the Boston Bruins are looking to make some upgrades, and lucky for them a star player was just placed on the trade block.

Don Sweeney had a busy off-season so far, but the moves he did make were pretty underwhelming.
Sweeney ended up signing 10 players, as well as trading for Viktor Arvidsson from the Edmonton Oilers, but the Bruins are still lacking some skill.
Along with that, they are in need of a top-six player, and according to Bleacher Report, Jason Robertson was just placed on the trade market.

Jason Robertson officially on the trade block

After being eliminated from the playoffs for the third straight year in the Western Conference Finals, the Dallas Stars started to make changes.
He had a busy off-season, trading winger Mason Marchment to the Seattle Kraken, and then Matt Dumba to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
These moves were made by the Stars to free up some cap space this off-season so they could re-sign captain Jamie Benn, as well as Matt Duchene.
Now, NHL insider Nick Kypreos and Ryan Dixon believe that Robertson's time with the Dallas Stars could be coming to an end.
Robertson is set to become a restricted free agent, and will have arbitration rights next off-season.
He is currently signed to a $7.8 million contract, but is set to get a massive pay raise due to offensive production.
Dixon believes that the Stars could look to trade him, but may have a problem trying to find a partner to get a deal done.
Dixon noted it could be difficult to find a suitable trade partner. Nill is under no pressure to move Robertson now and could let the coming season play out before deciding the winger's fate. Nevertheless, he could be a player worth watching in the trade market.

This would be the perfect opportunity for Don Sweeney, as he has mutliple first-round picks in the coming years, and some prospects to make a trade happen.
Especially considering how crowded the bottom-six is, not everyone has a spot on the roster, and Sweeney could use some of his prospects to acquire Robertson.
