Recently, it was revealed that David Pastrnak has been playing through a health problem, and he recently revealed that he made a big change to his pregame ritual because of it.
Right before on ice sessions began for the Boston Bruins, Don Sweeney reported that Pastrnak was not going to be with the team for a bit of time due to having tendinitis.
Sweeney: Pastrnak won't fully practice for a couple of days to open camp. Dealing with some tendinitis, but Sweeney deemed it as «load management».
Recently, Pastrnak returned back to the ice with the Bruins, and spoke with reporters for the first time since the reports of his tendinitis.
While speaking to reporters, Pastrnak revealed that this health problem caused him to make a change to his workouts.
Pastrnak admitted that he dealt with this health problem all last season, and it caused him to start biking instead of running:
