Don Sweeney Just Confirmed The Worst As He Reveals Top Defenseman Is Done For The Season
Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney held a press conference today where he went on to talk about a lot of things involving the Boston Bruins, but he confirmed that the Bruins will be down a defenseman for the rest of the year.
Sacco stated that Lindholm would not be returning to the lineup before the tournament, but expected him back sometime after it.

Hampus Lindholm: "It's unlikely that we're going to see Hampus before the break. We're erring on the side of caution right now as far as that goes. That's the plan right now...no setback, that's where we're at in his progress."
Well today Don Sweeney confirmed that this isn't the case.
The Bruins have been without Lindholm since November after he blocked a slap shot in a game against the
St. Louis Blues.
He was originally given a 6 week timeline to return to the Bruins lineup, but it is well past that, and fans have been wondering what is going on with him.
Today, Don Sweeney finally gave an answer for fans, and it's not a good one.
Bruins Lose A Defenseman For The Remainder Of The Year
Don Sweeney just revealed in his press conference today that Hampus Lindholm will not return this season, after suffering a season ending injury.
It was just stated that Lindholm suffered a fractured patella, and had surgery, and will now miss the rest of the year.

This is a huge loss for the Bruins, especially considering the position they are in right now.
